Intermediate Plus Acroyoga Course (12x) - AUTUMN 2024

Welcome to our 12 weeks

Intermediate Plus course: this is our most advanced series at the moment.

We will explore new pops, icarians, h2h, extended f2h, whips and tricky moves like monos and goofy stuff for flows. Yeah!

This course if for acroyogi*nis who have mastered the pre-requisites below.

Starting on the 26th of September 2024, we will offer a 12-week-series on Thursday evenings to create fun acroyoga sequences together and bring your skills to the next level!

Classes are 90 minutes long (19:00-20:30) and take place at our studio: Loquaiplatz 11/1C, 1060 Wien.

You don't need a partner to join!

Class Dates (Thursdays, 19:00-20:30): 

September 26th - December 12th

Classes will build on each other but depending on availability you can also join for a drop-in.

Pre-requisites: In order to follow the class you should be familiar with at least 80% of the following pre-requisites. You should be able to do them as a base OR as a flyer, it can be with a spotter for mental support/extra safety, but the spotter is not helping to hold or enter the pose. Please reach out to us if you're unsure about your level:

• pop bird to bird and American chair to American chair
• 4-step washing machine
• low and extended foot-to-hand
• ballerina
• other basic pops (chair to whale and back, bird to straddle and back)
• all 8 side stars (inside & outside, regular and reverse)
• reverse star

Energy exchange:

• 240€ for 12 classes (20€/class)
• 140€ for 6 classes (first half or second half) (23€/class)
• 25€ drop-in (single class)

We believe lack of money should not keep you from doing the things you love. If you're struggling financially but really want to learn acroyoga, contact us and we will find a way so you can join.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do I need a partner to join?

A: No. In this class, we will work together in varying teams so while you are very welcome to come as a couple it is not necessary to be paired up in advance.

Q: I have a partner and I want to only train with my partner. Is this possible?

A: Yes, however you will need to team up with at least a third person for spotting and do acroyoga with this person. Alternatively you can team up in a team of 4 people, and then you would only need to spot the other 2 people. You can always choose to stay with your partner when we suggest to mix up groups.

Q: I cannot make it to the whole series. Can I catch up some of the missed classes?

A: Yes. If we know about the absence beforehand, you can take up other classes we offer (Handstands, Acroyoga Open Level, Strength & Flexibility, etc.) in exchange for the missed class. Please tell us which class you want to take as follow-up so we can tell you if there is space.

Important: you can’t take up the missed class in the next class series. Please make sure to use up your “left-over class” in the same course cycle.

Q: I can do a few of the pre-requisites, but a lot of them are new to me. Can I still join?

A: No, you should at least be able to do 80% the poses we describe in the pre-requisites for the course. This applies for all levels. And if you want to level up faster we are available for private classes :)
