Still - during times of extreme uncertainty like we experience as a global collective these days - Yoga, especially calming YinYoga, is a critical tool to help with the anxiety, depression, and sedentary states that may resuit.

In Yin Yoga, the focus is on holding poses for long periods of time (three to five minutes) to access the connective tissues that holds our form together. By cultivating stillness in the body and mind, we are better able to counterbalance the chaos and uncertainty of the world around us.

Yin yoga offers a number of the same general benefits as other styles of yoga-but it's particularly ideal for releasing stress in the body's connective tissues and activating the parasympathetic nervous system. From an energetic perspective, Yin also works on stimulating the flow of energy through the meridians, to create balance in the body.

In this extended Class Marlene will guide you through a Mindfulness Meditation & Breathwork followed by a Yin Yoga sequence specifically designed as yoga for anxiety relief. Though it is not a cure, it can provide some comfort and calm when all else seems to be spiraling out of control.

Yoga bedeutet für Marlene Ausgleich, Selbststudium und Sinnesrückzug und nach einigen Jahren tiefer Selbstpraxis, hat sie im Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga ihr zu Hause gefunden. Ihr persönlicher Stil ist einfühlsam, intuitiv und präzise. Sie unterstützt dich während ihrer Stunden gerne mit Assists, um dir die Möglichkeit zu geben, die Positionen und die Praxis in ihrer Tiefe wahrzunehmen und kennenzulernen.
