In this session, we delve into the fundamentals of side breathing while using a kickboard in freestyle swimming. Remember to breathe in above the waterline through your mouth and exhale underwater to maintain a consistent breathing rhythm. It's vital to keep your leading arm extended and straight, coupled with vigorous kicking to preserve your streamline posture. Ensure your head remains in a neutral position, eyes looking downwards, as you push with your leading arm and shoulder. Focus on rotating your chest side to side, lifting each shoulder out of the water in turn. This technique is key for improving your freestyle breathing efficiency and overall performance.

Aqua Hero founder Ronen has participated in the national and international competitions as a professional swimmer and waterpolo player. For the last 10 years he was teaching swimming to children and adults. After many years of experience, he started to develop the “Aqua Hero” method for teaching adults in a more dynamic, fun and trust based way of learning. Apart his swimming journey he is a watersports enthusiast and practicing other watersports on the side as a hobby.
